These terms govern your use of ClipKnight. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.
1. What ClipKnight is
ClipKnight is an independent tool that helps you download media that X makes publicly available. It is developed and operated by the ClipKnight team and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by X Corp.
The ClipKnight name and trademark are used by us solely in connection with the services we provide.
2. Acceptable use
Use ClipKnight only to download content that you created yourself or that you have the rights and permission to save. This includes your own posts, posts from an account you operate, and content made available to you under a licence that permits downloading.
Do not use ClipKnight to infringe copyright, to bypass paywalls or access controls, to download private or protected content, to impersonate anyone, or to redistribute content in a way the rights holder has not permitted.
We may block access for anyone who abuses the service, and we may remove content from our systems on request from a rights holder.
3. No warranty
The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that every post can be downloaded, since availability is controlled by X and by networks and links outside our control.
4. Advertising
We display advertising to fund development and keep the service free. Our advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to measure and personalise ads. You can decline cookies in your browser settings or stop using the service at any time.
5. Intellectual property
All media available through ClipKnight belongs to its respective owners. We do not claim ownership of any content and we do not host it. ClipKnight is designed to help users save their own or authorised content.
If you believe material available through the service infringes your rights, contact us with the URL and your ownership details and we will act on it.
6. Changes and termination
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. We may suspend or stop the service at any time.
